The 8th day of the 8th month this year will forever be remembered as the day where the video industry was reclaimed, and the day we began to make VHS free again – we’re gonna make it free, great and free.

August 8 is the day that the 8th edition of THE 24 HOUR VHS MARATHON will take place. This is gonna be a great event, it’s gonna be so good. Not like the other years… I mean, the other years were good too, in fact really good, but this year is gonna be the greatest, really great!

Kan du huske, hvornår du sidst har sendt et håndskrevet brev? Vær med, når Post A Letter Aarhus fortæller kærlighedsbrevets historie og giver dig mulighed for selv at sende en håndskreven hilsen afsted til din udkårne…Post A Letter sørger for alt, hvad du har brug for af materialer, fra penne og papir til kuverter, sakse og klistermærker. Frimærker er sponsoreret af PostNord og materialer af Krop og Kærlighed festivalen. Der er frimærker til max to breve per person, og de kan sendes til adresser overalt i verden.

Mellemfolkelig Samvirkes digital dannelse-gruppe, inviterer til arrangement i Aarhus om hvordan man finder alternativer til Facebook, tirsdag d. 5. aug. kl. 16:30 – 18:00. Se arrangement på dukop.

Goal: Let’s fight surveillance capitalist spaces on the internet! Together, we can reimagine and build better digital ecosystems for ourselves and our fellow activists

How: Sharing knowledge between us in the group and holding collaborative learning workshops. For example, supporting each other in migrating to safer digital spaces and tools.

Digital Detox Festival i Alpi Carniche

Det er som om vi kun lever 9 måneder om året – de tre andre giver vi til skærmene.

Fra den 20-22 juni er der digital detox festival i de karniske alper i Italien, i Sauris, 1400 meter over havets overflade. Der deltager mere end 40 talere, og der er mulighed for yoga, stillelæsning og kreativitetsworkshops. Se hele programmet her.
